TRACE

Small things often go unseen; the curve of a claw, the weight of a button, the trace of a hand in metal.

This collection is inspired by an act of attention, gathering what’s easily missed and holding it still for a moment longer.

Small things often go unseen; the curve of a claw, the weight of a button, the trace of a hand in metal.

This collection is inspired by an act of attention, gathering what’s easily missed and holding it still for a moment longer.

Anvi Chadda’s Trace Collection explores the quiet beauty of detail — the small gestures and hidden adornments that give an object its personality.

Focusing on buttons, brooches, and accessories for clothing, shoes, and hair, the collection celebrates the overlooked spaces where design meets intimacy.

These are the subtle pieces that hold things together, both literally and aesthetically, adding a sense of individuality to what we wear.

The inspiration emerged from my fascination with animal forms and the instinctive movements they embody.

Each design is a distilled gesture: a hare curled at rest, two snakes entwined, a single serpent mid-slip, greyhounds mirrored in motion, a ram’s horn coiled in strength.

The forms are not direct representations, but interpretations; abstracted studies of motion, emotion, and connection.

Every piece begins as a hand-carved wax model, shaped slowly in the studio before being cast and finished in London.

The process preserves the tactile marks of the maker’s hand — traces of touch that remain visible in the final metal surface.

The resulting objects feel both sculptural and personal: small artefacts that carry the warmth of the process within their form.

Available in brass and sterling silver, with gold or gold-plated options upon request, each design can be worn as a button, brooch, or personal accessory.
Custom variations, including stone settings and finish adjustments, are made to order.

At its heart, The Trace Collection is an ode to being present.

It is a reminder that even the smallest details hold the power to transform, to connect, and to be seen.
